Recently, during an earnings call for the latest quarter, Sony revealed that the sales numbers for Ghost of Yotei were outpacing the numbers of the previous game in the Ghost series, Tsushima. This is a good thing for a few reasons. One, Ghost of Yotei has a higher MSRP than Tsushima did. Second, there were around 120 million Playstation 4 systems in customers’ hands compared to the 85 million for Yotei. Third, it means all the propaganda and ragebaiters across social media failed.

And remember, this is an earnings call, not something actually meant for general viewing. So it doesn’t behove Sony (or any company) to lie.
